Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: My flashlight won’t turn on, flickers, or turns on and off intermittently. What should I do? 99% of functional issues can be fixed in 1 minute!
Please follow these 4 steps in order:
- Fully unscrew and then firmly re-tighten the head → body → tail cap (tighten all the way, don’t over-force).
- Clean the following areas with a cotton swab + 99% isopropyl alcohol: • Positive spring and metal ring inside the head • All threads on both ends of the tube • Copper pillar, circuit board, and retaining ring inside the tail switch
- Replace with a brand-new, fully charged high-quality battery (recommended: protected 18650/21700 from reputable brands) ⚡ Tip: Many “dead” flashlights are just locked by battery protection. Charge it directly for 5–10 minutes to unlock.
- Click the tail switch several times to “wake” the light.
After these steps, over 95% of issues are resolved instantly!

Q2: My flashlight gets very hot in high/turbo mode after a few minutes. Is this normal? Yes — completely normal and actually a good sign!
Why does it get hot? In high or turbo mode, the LED runs at 15–50W+. Only 30–40% of the energy becomes light; the remaining 60–70% turns into heat. This heat must be dissipated through the aluminum body — the hotter it feels, the better the heat dissipation is working. Brands that stay cool often secretly limit output.
Normal temperature reference (at 25°C room temperature)
- Turbo/max brightness: 60–75°C at the head after 1–3 minutes (hot to touch but safe to hold)
- Sustained high mode: 50–65°C (warm but won’t burn)
Safe usage tips
- When running turbo for more than 3–5 minutes, hold it in your hand or place it on a metal surface to help cooling
- Most models have built-in thermal step-down (automatically reduces brightness above ~65°C) — it will never overheat or get damaged
- If it feels too hot, simply switch to medium or low mode for a few seconds and temperature drops quickly
- Never put a running turbo light in a pocket or sealed bag!
Getting hot means you’re getting the full performance you paid for. Use it with confidence!
